Daniel: From ticket to tested pull request—without the AI slop.
Daniel handles your backlog, runs your test suite, and ships code—not bugs. It builds features, fixes bugs, repairs failing builds, upgrades dependencies, reviews pull requests and hardens security across your repositories, around the clock. Every change is proven by your own tests before it reaches you.
Hand Daniel the backlog your team never gets to. It plans the work, writes the code and the tests, checks its own diff and opens a pull request for your review. Your engineers keep the interesting problems.
What Daniel does for your team
One engineer that never runs out of hours, and a team of specialists when the job is bigger.
Build features
From a ticket or a sentence to working code, with tests, across the files it touches.
Fix bugs
Reproduces the problem, finds the root cause and lands the fix with a regression test.
Repair failing CI
Reads the build logs, fixes what broke and pushes to the same branch.
Upgrade and migrate
Framework upgrades, dependency bumps and API migrations, done safely step by step.
Review every pull request
Automatic code review on every PR. Reply @daniel fix this and it makes the change.
Find and fix security issues
Scheduled scans with findings by file and line, then fixes with tests.
Write the missing tests
Raises coverage on the code that matters and catches regressions before they ship.
DevOps and infrastructure
CI/CD pipelines, cloud config, Docker and infrastructure as code.
Document the codebase
Keeps a living wiki of how your system works, so new engineers ramp up fast.
From ticket to pull request, without the hand-offs
Work reaches Daniel the way it reaches your team today: a Jira or Linear ticket, a GitHub issue, an @daniel comment, a failed CI run, a Slack message or a schedule.
Built by people who have delivered for the enterprise
Cognitive AI’s founder has spent more than ten years leading delivery programs for large organizations in banking, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, aviation, automotive and hospitality: cloud modernizations, integrations, identity and access, and mission-critical operations. Daniel is built to the standard those teams hold software to.
Why teams choose Daniel
Proof, not promises
Every task is verified by your own tests in a sandbox. Work that can’t be proven is reported as blocked, never as done.
Never stalls
Missions run on our servers. Expired logins, busy models and dropped connections are handled automatically, and you’re told only when you’re needed.
You stay in control
Daniel never merges. Approve plans before work starts, and review every change as a normal pull request.
A fraction of the cost
Plans from $20 a month, and in our public benchmark it cost 70% less than a leading AI engineer for the same results.
Your stack, your rules
Any language with a command-line build or test. Team rules, playbooks and memory keep Daniel working your way.
Cloud or your machine
Run it on our servers, or with one command on your own computer. Your working copy is never touched.
Works inside the tools your team already uses
Daniel picks up work from your tickets and repos, reports back where your team talks, and hands off through a normal pull request. No new process to learn.
Proven in public
We test Daniel on real bugs from widely used open-source projects, graded by the maintainers’ own hidden tests. On the hardest tier of SWE-bench Verified, the industry’s standard test, it resolved 19 of 24 issues — ahead of the best published agent on the same issues — and every patch is public.

Questions
What kind of work can Daniel take on?
Features, bug fixes, failing builds, upgrades and migrations, tests, code review, security fixes, infrastructure and documentation. If your team would write a ticket for it, Daniel can usually do it.
Does Daniel merge code on its own?
No. It opens a pull request and your team decides. Every change is verified by your own test suite in an isolated sandbox first.
What happens if I close the browser?
Missions run on our servers and keep going. The page catches up when you return, and Slack or Teams tells you when it’s done.
Which languages and stacks work?
Any repository with a command-line build or test: JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, PHP, .NET and more.
How is our code handled?
Each mission runs in its own sandbox that is discarded afterwards. The code Daniel reads is sent to the AI model to do the work. In local mode, everything runs on your machine except the model calls.
Can we try it on our own repo before buying?
Yes. Start free with $2 of work, or book a demo and we’ll run Daniel on an issue from your backlog with you.
